This pretty Bell is made in Romanian Point Lace, an old European lace technique. It is sold as a kit and each kit contains: Anchor Freccia 100% cotton thread size 12, Blue/Green/White/Yellow variegated for crocheting the simple and double braids, ring and needle lace stitches; reusable fabric pattern; 1 sharp pointed needle and sewing colour thread for basting the braids on the fabric pattern; 1 tapestry needle size 24 for working the needle lace stitches and easy-to-follow, step-by-step illustrated instructions. A steel crochet hook(hk) 1.15 - 1.25mm (10 - 9 steel U.S.A.) is required to crochet the braids and the rings. The finished size of the Bell is 5.5" x 4.25"(14cm x 10.7cm).
