FINISHED LEAFY GREEN NECKLACE I, NO. 258LLG

This gorgeous paisley shape necklace is made in the beautiful Romanian Point Lace technique. The corded braids are made with a crochet hook and the high quality Lizbeth thread, the leafy Green colour, size 20. One of the braid is basted on the fabric pattern and the needle lace stitch is worked with a tapestry needle, size 24. When it is finished, the pattern is ironed over a damp cloth and then the basting thread is cut from the back side of the fabric and taken off the fabric. A grape shape is worked on a dome, using bullion stitch and sewn in the circle on top of the paisley shape. The chain is also crocheted in a pretty braided cord and the length is 18"-20". The chain can also be a metal one or a soft Swede corded, 20"(50cm) long. The size of the pendant is 3.25"(8cm) long and 1.5"(4cm) wide.
