This pretty Paradise Bird is handmade in Romanian Point Lace technique. It is sold as a kit in 2 options: 1. With threads plus the rest of the supplies to complete the pattern or 2. With ready-made braided cords and the rest of the supplies. Each Kit contains the following supplies: For crocheting the braids - Anchor Freccia Yellow variegated cotton thread size 20, DMC Pearl Cotton Purple and Turqoise, size 8, Valdani Pearl Cotton Magenta size 8, DMC Pearl Cotton Light Green, size 12. For needle lace stitches: DMC Yellow, Pink and Purple/Green variegated, size 80 and Pearl Cotton Light Green size 12. The kit also includes: reusable fabric pattern; sewing colored thread and one sharp pointed needle for basting the braids on the fabric pattern; one tapestry needle, size 24 for working the needle lace stitches and easy-to-follow, step-by-step illustrated instructions. A steel crochet hook(hk) 1.15-1.25mm (10-9 steel U.S.A.) is required(not included in the kit). The finished size of the Pattern is 6.75" x 3.75"(17cm x 9.5cm).
